VONQ, a cross channel recruitment marketing platform, announced today that it is acquiring IGB, a leader in job distribution, programmatic advertising, and recruitment analytics. The VONQ platform provides employers access to more than 2,000 channels for job advertising, making data-based recommendations to recruiters for the distribution of their jobs. They also offer ATS providers an integrated marketplace for employer customers. They expect 20 of these ATS marketplaces to go live this year.
The acquisition of IGB will deepen the programmatic capabilities within the VONQ platform and extends VONQ into the staffing industry where IGB has predominantly focused.
An aggressive product roadmap focused on recruitment marketing
VONQ CEO Tycho van Paassen and the firm’s strategic advisor Bill Boorman joined George LaRocque on UNLEASH to discuss the deal and what it means for the future of of VONQ and for the the market. Tycho stressed the company’s strengths in providing one source of truth for recruitment marketing decisions, while being agnostic to whether that is initiated via one of its integrated ATS partners or direct in the VONQ platform. Boorman was bullish on VONQ’s focus and the differentiating capabilities IGB offers employers that are increasingly behaving like staffing firms with their advertising spend decisions.
Keep an eye on VONQ. This deal may seem to be serving as its introduction to the global enterprise recruiting tech market, but its product, roadmap, and business model are both mature and robust.
