Vivek also touches on the changes brought on by climate change and the impact on specific industries as well as the longevity of remote working in the post-pandemic world.
While Vivek believes some workforces will be distributed — and individuals will be able to continue working remotely – he says creatives and innovators will need to continue working face-to-face. He also thinks people are going to want to return to the office to feel a sense of belonging and to avoid being overlooked when it comes to promotions.
Looking ahead, Vivek believes key technologies such as artificial intelligence, networks, sensors, robots, synthetic biology, and quantum computing, are on an exponential path.
