Take a moment to revisit some of our 2024 highlights below, and explore our upcoming events to start planning an exciting 2025 calendar.
World-renowned HR analyst Josh Bersin, and the Co-Founder of the Josh Bersin Company, Bill Pelster, joined UNLEASH’s Editor-in-Chief, Nima Sherpa Green, in this exclusive webinar, focused on how to unlock strategic HR, and advance influence in businesses.
AI systems can find anything,” Bersin shares.
“If you inadvertently upload sensitive data – say, a compensation database – into a chatbot designed for specialists, and it’s not protected, it could spread to all employees or, worse, the internet. You’re going to be in big trouble. A few companies have actually had that happen.”
To overcome this, he advises to look to best practices that are already being implemented at scale. This is particularly important as larger enterprises are already investing heavily in technology designed for security and governance, ensuring that AI remains both powerful and trustworthy.
Throughout the rest of the webinar, the trio discuss crucial topics, such as how to navigate data pitfalls, AI’s potential for HR transformation, how to prepare for an AI-powered future and much more.

This exclusive UNLEASH webinar, in partnership with Symphony Talent, takes a deep dive into building future-ready employees with Perry Steinberg, Chief Product Officer, Symphony Talent; Amee Desjourdy, Chief Human Resources Officer at Hitachi Digital; and Iris Ware, Chief Learning Officer at City of Detroit.
With UNLEASH’s Senior Journalist John Brazier as moderator, the trio cover a wide range of topics, from budget control and assessing skills to developing learning programs and gaining employee trust.
Steinberg also made the important note of focusing on the future, while taking into consideration generational differences when it comes to addressing what employees value.
He says: “Every generation really has the same kind of desires of balancing family, work, and their interests across the board, as well as where do I want to go with my career? What type of skills do I need to build?
Everyone now is really starting to look towards the future.”

Organizations must adopt a dynamic mindset that prioritizes adaptability and continuous evolution to navigate today’s ever-changing HR landscape.
This involves fostering a culture of curiosity, utilizing design thinking, aligning organizational values, and setting strong examples through leadership.
By embedding these principles into the workplace, HR leaders can create a secure foundation that allows businesses to flourish – even through the uncertainty and change.
To explore this in greater depth, HiBob partnered with UNLEASH to launch an exclusive report, diving into how to develop an agile, adaptable and motivated workforce through continuous change.
The report examines how to build a change-ready organization, while sharing insights into how to replace outdated models with a change mindset.
It also offers actionable strategies for managing change, via a model that is agile and adaptable, as well as providing case studies of organizations that have successfully navigated change with tangible results.
Research from Workhuman and Gallup found that only 33% of employees in the US and 23% of employees globally are engaged at work, with over half of the world’s employees signaling discontent with their current jobs by actively seeking new roles.
To gain a deeper understanding of this issue, Workday’s Senior Principal of Consulting, Clare Moncrieff and UNLEASH’s Senior Journalist, Lucy Buchholz hosted this exclusive UNLEASH roundtable, to unearth the challenges of creating a culture of recognition.
The session covered key issues facing the topic of recognition, including methods for ensuring every employee feels valued, how to implement authentic recognition programs, and much more.
Before the session closed, Moncrieff concludes: “We’ve seen some really powerful health and safety outcomes for increased recognition, for example, organizations that do a great job of recognizing each other are psychologically safer.
“It’s these metrics that aren’t the most intuitive ones when you think about recognition, but you can see the impact – it speaks volumes to leaders and helps them change their behavior.
“So, recognition done right can generate insights and outcomes that can further support and drive the right behaviors in leaders and peers.”
