As hybrid working becomes the preferred option for a large number of employers and employees, it has presented new challenges for IT and HR teams.
Notably, monitoring the experience of employees has become increasingly important as the “Great Resignation” becomes a prominent issue. The pandemic has seen employees weigh up their options and see if their workplace offers them enough balance and incentives. As a result, many have changed roles and left companies.
The significance of employee experience is tied with technology in the eyes of the majority of Chief information officers (CIOs). In fact, Qualtrics asked more than 200 CIOs about how their roles shifted during the pandemic.
It was found that over 90% of CIOs believe the IT experience is important when it comes to attracting and retaining talent and building corporate culture.
DXC and Qualtrics collaborate
In an attempt to improve the experience of employees, DXC has added Qualtrics’ EmployeeXM solution, which gathers continuous feedback from every employee experience to take the right actions to impact engagement, talent planning, productivity, to the Modern Workplace service solution it provides to its clients.
This move will impact employees whose companies rely on the Modern Workplace service solution. The collaboration will be first rolled out internally in DXC for its 130,000 employees.
Mike McDaniel, President, Modern Workplace at DXC Technology spoke about the collaboration during a Modern Workplace event: “As a leading provider of Modern Workplace services globally, DXC helps organizations transform and foster collaboration and productivity on any device, anytime and anywhere.
“Adding the power of Qualtrics’ employee experience technology to DXC’s Modern Workplace is a natural fit to further elevate the value and data provided on experience for our customers and colleagues”
McDaniel added that the use of Qualtric’s technology was a “key differentiator” of DXC’s offering.
Brad Anderson, Qualtrics’ President of Products and Services, also expressed excitement about the collaboration: “Qualtrics is helping some of the world’s leading organizations win the war for talent, and the collaboration between Qualtrics and DXC will help even more companies deliver next-level workplace experiences that increase collaboration, productivity and engagement.”
