Last year’s report turned up some analysis into the mindset of HR leaders, their pain points and priorities:
73% – have seen some impact from economic pressures, with one in three experiencing significant economic pressure on their HR budgets for the year ahead
Today, only 33% of HR professionals think that their HR systems are fit for the modern workforce
Last year’s top HR priorities included supporting the digital transformation of the workforce and adopting next-generation HR approaches
And on the topic de jour, AI, there is a very mixed picture of acceptance, balanced with of skepticism in HR. 34% of HL leaders think claims on the impact of AI on HR is ‘overhyped’. Is that still the case?
With so much change happening in HR tech today, incredibly fast-paced innovation, and huge financial backing and investment, how do you know what tools and platforms to invest in and what your priorities should be?
Now in its 10th year, the annual HR Realities research conducted by industry analyst Fosway Group, helps provide a valuable independent barometer of what’s working for organizations in practice.
With an average of over 500 participants annually, this research informs HR professionals and the wider HR tech market year on year. UNLEASH has supported this research since its inception and I have personally seen it support key investment and planning decisions in organizations worldwide.
Respondents receive priority access to the results as well as the opportunity to discuss the data live with Fosway analyst, including CEO David Wilson, later this year at UNLEASH World in Paris from 16-17 October.
“HR strategy and teams are entering a new era of people experience, workforce intelligence and automation,” commented David Perring, Fosway Group’s Chief Insights Officer and lead analyst on the research.
“So, in this year’s research we’ve decided to shine a light on the progress that’s been made to make HR fit for the modern workforce, understand the realities behind delivering a sustainable HR solution architecture, at a time of huge uncertainty and innovation in AI.”
UNLEASH CEO Marc Coleman added: “AI is bringing performance feedback and productivity to life, giving greater competency and skills to the workforce that craves professional development and career growth.
“This research will provide a deeper understanding of how we can better manage our teams and inspire innovation to keep the business moving alongside emerging technologies and AI adoption, all without losing the human connection that is going to be integral to the workplace.”
