Hot on the heels of partnering up with SmartRecruiters, Hibob is now acquiring AI workplace relationships analytics tech company Cassiopeia.
This deals builds on a multi-year partnership between Hibob and Cassiopeia. The financial terms of the acquisition were not disclosed by either party.
Cassiopeia’s platform does advanced analytics of employees' communications patterns and makes suggestions about how to optimize communication and collaboration, as well as create a better work-life balance.
Over-meeting and burnout have been huge problems over the past year, and they have contributed to a decline in employee work-life balance.
As a result of the deal, Cassiopeia’s AI tech will be integrated into Hibob’s Bob platform.
The aim is that the acquisition will enable Hibob to further support its customers as they navigate the hybrid, flexible and distributed future of work, particularly in terms of employee empowerment and experience, as well as meeting productivity.
Cassiopeia’s co-founders – Tomer Laszlo, Maayan Lahav, and Shiran Yaroslavksy – will now join Hibob’s team. Yaroslavksy, who had previously served as Cassiopeia’s CEO, will become Hibob’s vice-president of product in the US.
Talking about the deal, Yaroslavsky wrote in a blogpost:
“With our technology integrated into bob, we’ll offer more robust analytics for companies operating in the digital workplace by identifying teams’ interactions and providing actionable insights for better and more effective teamwork.
Hibob co-founder and CEO Ronni Zehavi added: “As we plan to leverage Cassiopeia's technology and embed it into our people analytics capabilities, we are giving our platform an advantage over other HR technologies, and helping our existing and future customers improve communication, collaboration, and work-life balance for their hybrid and remote teams."
