Established in July 2021, Cync is on a mission to bring AI-enabled insights to cultural workforce analytics. The Berlin-based startup counts Searchtalent, Deichmann, and Vodafone among its clients.
To date, the startup has raised approximately €500,000 in funding from investors including Integra GmbH, allygatr, and some Business Angels.
John Brazier: What is Cync’s USP? What makes your proposition special?
Ben Visser: Cync’s one-of-a-kind selling point is its AI-driven, scientifically proven assessments that offer in-depth insights into team culture and values.
This is great news for HR professionals, as it means they can make better hiring decisions and optimize team performance.
JB: How are you trying to change the world?
BV: Cync is on a mission to revolutionize the HR industry.
We’re offering tools that ensure better cultural fit and enhance team dynamics, leading to increased productivity and reduced turnover.
JB: What is your key message to HR leaders?
BV: Cync guarantees that teams are in sync with each other and with the company’s culture.
This empowers hiring managers to make better decisions and build stronger teams, which in turn drives business success.
JB: What are the next strategic goals for Cync?
BV: Cync has some very exciting plans.
We plan to expand the integration capabilities with various HRIS, ATS, and CRM systems and increase their global reach to provide more organizations with their culture analytics solutions.
JB: What one trend will be top of mind for HR leaders in the next 12 months?
BV: The top trend for HR leaders will likely be the focus on improving workplace culture and ensuring that new hires fit well within existing teams to maintain high engagement and productivity – and it will be fascinating months.
