Claire Whieldon

Claire is the Global Reward Programme Director at AstraZeneca plc, a global, science-led biopharmaceutical company that focuses on the discovery, development and commercialization of prescription medicines primarily for the treatment of diseases in three therapy areas: Oncology, Cardiovascular, and Respiratory. Based in Cambridge, UK, AstraZeneca operates in over 100 countries and employs over 78,000 people. In her role, Claire oversees the organization’s global reward policies and processes to deliver the Total Reward strategy.  She is passionate about employee experience and the role reward plays in creating a great place to work. Prior to joining AstraZeneca, she was Global Reward Director at Abcam plc and Reward Director at BGL Group (comparethemarket.com).
