Carissa’s experience spans continents and industries, with a focus in energy, resources, and industrials (including construction and manufacturing). Previously, Carissa founded Co.lab, a London-based workplace advisory business helping organizations align their workplaces to their business objectives. Working with business occupiers and real estate developers, Co.lab developed a reputation for challenging the status quo and inspiring clients to think differently, leading them to make transformational changes. Carissa has over 20 years’ experience in business advisory and real estate with practical experience defining and delivering workplace transformation program for global businesses. Additionally, she was the Workplace Director at the UK’s largest office developer, Landsec, with responsibility for anticipating the changing needs of customers, driving innovation in the built environment, and developing new business models and services. Carissa thrives on bringing new perspectives, facilitating intentional decisions, and supporting clients in making smart investments in their workplaces. Long before the pandemic forced most office workers into remote working, Carissa was advising businesses on the benefits of choice and autonomy in where, when, and how people work. These benefits continue to hold true and it is now critical to define sustainable and productive new work models to crystalize the gains of greater flexibility.
