Christian Fernandez is certified professional in Strategic Workforce Planning and Employee Experience with over 15 years of experience in strategy development and execution in Agile Business Transformation, Organization Design and Effectiveness, Employee Experience and Insights and Process Re-engineering. His unique combination of Industrial Engineering and Organizational Development experience has allowed him to effectively coach leaders in developing roadmaps to achieve a ‘High Performing Organization’ through alignment of people, processes and technology that improve organizational capabilities. He possesses a track record of coaching and developing leaders in high visibility positions yielding higher profit margins, operational efficiencies, and talent engagement and retention. Christian joined Northwestern Mutual in 2022 to lead enterprise Strategic Workforce Planning and Organization Design efforts for specific client groups in support of their Digital Transformation. Prior to his time at NM, he co-led the Future of Work- Organization Design Practice at Prudential Financial, primarily focusing on building processes and content that enabled their Work, Workplace and Workforce Transformation. Additional experiences include working at various capacities in the process improvement, org design and talent insights space at Nissan North American, Bombardier Transportation and Schindler Elevator Corporation.
