Heather is Director of Education Programs at Amazon Web Services (AWS). In this role, she leads a global team responsible for inspiring and cultivating the next generation of diverse cloud professionals through Education Programs programs, including: AWS Academy, AWS Educate, AWS re/Start, AWS GetIT, and AWS Spark.
Heather has been with AWS for more than seven years and has held several leadership roles across marketing, including field marketing, customer acquisition, campaigns, and marketing for AWS Training and Certification.
Before joining AWS, Heather held leadership roles in marketing at companies including Oracle, Brocade Communications, and Fujitsu. Heather resides in Portland, Oregon with her daughter.
