Jack Klott is a dynamic and accomplished human resources professional offering experience leading regional and local HR initiatives that support strategic company objectives. Jack currently serves as the Vice President of Total Rewards at Independent Bank (MI) where he is responsible for the oversight and management of Benefits, Compensation, Payroll and all HR technology for a 1,000-employee corporation. With nearly 20 years as a Human Resource Professional and a Bachelor’s of Arts degree in Business Administration, Human Resources and Operational Management, Jack brings a wealth of knowledge and strong strategic perspectives. Using real-world examples, Jack sheds light on how a strong, equitable and current Total Rewards package, serves an organization and positively impacts employees and the overall mission, values and culture. Serving as a Personnel Specialist-Sergeant in the United States Army for 10 years has provided Jack with a unique perspective that inspires him to dedicate his efforts to teach, develop, inspire, and serve his HR team.
