Jason R. Desentz is a distinguished Global Senior Human Resources Executive with over 25 years of transformative leadership experience across diverse sectors, including automotive, manufacturing, healthcare, and financial services. With a global perspective spanning the Americas, Europe, Asia, and Australia, Jason has adeptly steered HR functions in Fortune 500 companies and mid-market enterprises, significantly enhancing organizational performance and driving strategic business outcomes.
Currently, Jason serves as the Chief Human Resource Officer for Toshiba Americas. At Toshiba Group, renowned for its innovative technologies and contributions to energy, social infrastructure, electronic devices, and digital solutions, Jason oversees all aspects of the Human Capital chain across facilities in the Americas. His role involves shaping and executing HR strategies that align with Toshiba’s mission to support modern life and society through technological advancements.
Before joining Toshiba, Jason was the Chief Human Resources Officer for Horizon Global, a publicly traded company. There, he spearheaded the development and implementation of comprehensive human capital strategies across 67 facilities in 21 countries. His leadership was pivotal in integrating multiple mergers and acquisitions, optimizing HR functions, and achieving substantial cost savings through infrastructure enhancements and strategic talent management.
Jason’s extensive expertise encompasses HR shared services, HRIS implementation, DEI initiatives, employee relations, organizational design, and performance management. He is adept at leading enterprise-wide change management initiatives, leveraging HR analytics for data-driven decision-making, and enhancing employee engagement. His innovative approach has led to the creation of high-performing teams, cost efficiencies, and risk mitigation across global markets.
