Jennifer Walker is the vice president of Human Resources Strategy & Implementation at Stanley, Black & Decker Inc. where she is responsible for driving key HR strategies, leading the talent and development of the HR workforce, and accelerating overall performance.
Prior to this role, she served as the executive director of Human Resources at The Boeing Company where she was responsible for the successful execution of some of Boeing’s key business and cultural transformations, designed to drive performance and foster employee engagement for the company’s 170,000 global employees.
Before joining Boeing, Walker was the vice president of Human Resources at ADM, a world-class Fortune 100 company, where she led and motivated high-performing teams across North America, Latin America, Europe & Asia-Pacific. She had direct accountability for leading HR efforts inside ADM that drove the key growth engines for future organization success, including HR strategy, professional leadership and development programs, employee engagement programs, large-scale ERP implementations, HR operations and organizational change management.
Walker is also a co-founder of Together We Grow: Feeding the Future, a consortium of some of the world’s largest agricultural interests, in partnership with U.S. Secretary of Agriculture Tom Vilsack, focused on building the modern workforce of tomorrow, and ensuring the workforce is skilled, diverse and competitive.
Walker holds Bachelor of Science degrees in communications and English literature, with a minor in political science, as well as a Master of Science degree in communications from Illinois State University in Normal, Illinois. Jennifer is an International Coaching Federation Associate Certified Coach and a PROSCI change management leader.
