Kim currently leads the People Experience, Analytics and Digital Innovation team at Vertex Pharmaceuticals. She is enthusiastic about modernizing the workplace and bringing new, innovative technologies and experiences to render a culture of kindness where employees can bring their best selves to work and thrive. At Vertex, she stewards HR digital literacy, data-based decision making and human-centric work design to drive business outcomes. She curates employee listening to build exceptional experiences which foster belonging and fuel engagement.
In her career, Kim has worked across Biotech and Legal industries in HR and IT functions. Prior to Vertex she led Global MBS HR Service Management at Merck KGaA. She as implemented HCMs, LMS, ERPs, CRMs platforms and a myriad of digital channels including HRSD Portals, AI, RPA, chatbot, machine learning, analytic dashboards, and workflows to simplify work. At Vertex she recently partnered with IT and Data Science teams to launch an internal talent marketplace including skills intelligence to increase internal mobility and career development opportunities. She is especially fond of developing change management and enablement strategies to achieve success.
Throughout her career, Kim has traveled to over thirty countries gaining keen cultural awareness to the nuances of the global workforce. Kim’s diverse experience enables her to introduce leading-edge practices focused on the Employee Experience to support the moments that matter across the employee lifecycle from candidacy to alumni.
Kim lives in Boston, Massachusetts with her husband of thirty years and has three amazing sons.
