Currently she is the Chief Diversity & Inclusion Officer and Vice President of Global Talent Acquisition at Alcon, the global leader in eye care. Kristen defines and delivers global strategies to ensure Alcon has the best talent to drive business outcomes. Similarly, she partners with leaders and associates across the organization to create a diverse and inclusive environment that fosters innovation and drives performance.
Prior to Alcon, Kristen held the role of Chief Diversity Officer and Managing Director of Talent Acquisition at United Airlines where she delivered holistic strategies to create an inclusive environment that attracts, assesses, hires, engages, and develops the best talent to make United a leader in the airline industry.
Prior to United, Kristen was the VP, Global Talent Acquisition, Culture, and DEI at AbbVie, a global biopharma company. In this role she led all facets of talent acquisition and DEI, including the establishment of AbbVie’s D&I strategy, leading to global recognition as a diverse and inclusive employer of choice. She also led AbbVie’s culture transformation post their spin-off from Abbott Laboratories in 2013. Prior to AbbVie, Kristen held leadership roles at Cargill and Whirlpool Corporation.
