As an accomplished HR and Talent Leader, Leon currently serves as the Vice President of Career Growth & Performance at Comcast, overseeing Talent and Performance Management for the organization. In his current role, he directs enterprise-wide talent strategy and organizational excellence initiatives that drive business success across the company’s global operations.
Before his current appointment, Leon held several key leadership positions within Comcast, including Regional Vice President of HR for the Mountain West Region, where he led HR service delivery for a $5B field organization. He also served as Division Vice President of HR, providing strategic leadership across multiple West Division functions, including Customer Experience, Technical Operations & Engineering, Comcast Business, and Sales & Marketing.
Prior to joining Comcast in 2013, Leon served as Vice President and Senior HR Business Partner at Lincoln Financial Group, where he provided strategic HR leadership and executive coaching to senior executives in Marketing, Sales, Finance, and Relationship Management. His extensive career spans 28 years across various Fortune 500 companies, including leadership roles at Campbell Soup Company, USAA Financial Services, Humana Healthcare, Hewlett Packard, and Federal Express, where he consistently drove organizational transformation and talent excellence.
Leon holds a Master’s degree in Safety Management and a Bachelor’s degree in History & Political Science from West Virginia University.
