Nina Bressler

Global Head of Societal Learning & Education, Novartis
    Speaker

At the heart of Nina’s work is a purpose to help people thrive. She believes that continuous learning, leadership that is founded on individual autonomy and curiosity unleashes people, teams, organizations, and their potential.

She started her career executing large-scale enterprise transformation through the lens of technology implementation. This served as an ideal playground to learn about organizations, their processes, teams and the individuals that comprise them. The experiences and challenges she came up against required her to practice unfettered curiosity and collaborative, conscious leadership. As Nina honed her ability to navigate complexity, she shifted her approach to transformation. She evolved her focus from processes to people, from systems to culture, and from solving for the complicated through controls to being comfortable with the ambiguity of complexity, and even thriving in emergent and transformative environments that challenge her creativity and call upon her to bring her most innovative self to the solution.

As Global Head of Societal Learning at Novartis, Nina’s team is creating a framework to deliver sustainable learning outside the company helping key partners & networks build skills to strengthen healthcare systems & improve health outcomes. They will achieve this by integrating diverse voices across healthcare systems, policy networks, educational institutions, and commercial entities to co-evolve measurably impactful solutions.

Nina believes we are all works in progress, and it is her daily practice to live and work with purpose, be open, be self-aware, serve others, listen to learn, be honest, and continuously seek out opportunities to experiment, thrive and evolve. Nina is most energized when she can help organizations enable similar practices and unleash their full potential.
