Olesea Azevedo serves as the Chief People Officer for AdventHealth, a faith-based health system focused on whole-person care. As the CPO, she has changed the function, culture, and impact of HR across the organization to support business goals and strategies as well as the needs and aspirations of 80,000 team members.
Azevedo is known for her leadership in culture transformation and employee experience innovation. Her roles include senior HR positions at Florida Blue and Guidewell, Baptist Health South Florida, and Conagra Brands.
Azevedo earned a Master of Arts in Business Administration from Northern Illinois University. She serves on the AdventHealth University board and is an active participant in AdventHealth’s community involvement program, which supports several nonprofits in Central Florida. Her volunteer work includes serving various youth organizations, including Girl Scouts of the USA, Big Brothers Big Sisters, and Junior Achievement USA.
