After serving as Chief People Officer in a couple of global tech companies (MediaMath and Shutterstock) Peter Phelan hung out a consulting shingle as a Culture Doctor, as he wanted to help more than one company at a time curate positive, empowering, and high-performing cultures.
He’s enjoying sharing lessons learned along the way to getting MediaMath to be the only East Coast or West Coast <1,000 employee company to ever make the Glassdoor Employees’ Choice Best Place Places To Work list three years in a row. But the most fun has come from collaborating with and learning from 80+ leading People First organizations and seeing them rapidly gain market share, achieve unicorn valuations, and/or have successful exits.
He’s delighted to have expanded his offering to HR executive search of late – placing 50 progressive People/Talent leaders in ’21/’22!
In his spare time, this Irishman takes his “gift of the gab” to Manhattan’s standup stages at clubs like Comic Strip Live, Gotham Comedy Club, and Stand Up NY.
