Shannon is responsible for all Human Resources activities for the 6000+ employees in the US. Prosegur is a global leader in the private security sector. Across its three business lines – Prosegur Security, Prosegur Cash, and Prosegur Alarms – Prosegur provides companies and households with reliable security services using the most advanced market solutions. Its company headquarters are based in Madrid, Spain with business interests worldwide. Prior to joining Prosegur, Ms. Hughes Swayney occupied the position of Senior Human Resources Manager with Aramark Leisure East Region supporting a diverse portfolio of accounts along and beyond the East coast. In her ten years with Aramark, she has worked in numerous lines of business for Aramark including Healthcare and Higher Education. Before coming to Aramark, she has over 15 years’ experience providing and directing HR services in both private and public sectors including the transportation industry, public utility, parks and amusements, and real estate. Shannon earned her M.S. in Human Resources from the University of Tennessee-Knoxville with a specialization in Training and Development, and a B.A. in Organizational Communications from University of Lynchburg-Lynchburg, Virginia. She completed her SPHR-SCP Certification in 2010 and plans to obtain her J.D. in Employment Law in the future. She has also been published in various trade publications and journals, serves on various volunteer boards, local SHRM chapters, and teaches human resources classes at the local community college when time allows.
