Tara Hsu is Associate Vice President of Global Talent Acquisition at Marvell Technology, Inc. In this role, Tara leads the company’s Global Talent Acquisition, University Recruiting, Contingent Worker Program and Immigration/Relocation functions. Most recently, Marvell was named #22 in Glassdoor’s 2023 Best Places to Work, Builtin 2023 Best Places to Work and is a Great Place to Work certified company.
Tara joined Marvell in August 2020 as Senior Director, bringing more than 15 years of recruiting experience across a variety of disciplines and companies. Prior to Marvell, Tara held leadership positions in talent acquisition at Happy Money, Capital Group Companies and Blizzard Entertainment, respectively. She began her recruiting career in executive search, with roles at Heidrick & Struggles, CT Partners & Ken Clark International in Consumer Products, Technology & Biotech/Pharma.
Early on in her career, Tara worked in financial services for several banking institutions where she was responsible for high-net-worth portfolio management. She has held Series 6, 63, 7, Life Insurance, and Real Estate Broker licenses. She has also been an entrepreneur, building her own spa business from the ground up.
Tara holds a B.A. in International Business/French from Cal State Fullerton and an MBA from Durham University Business School. She is also an avid learner & animal lover – Tara loves to volunteer her time fostering rescue dogs and you will often find 4+ dogs at her home.
