Todd is an adaptable, forward-thinking, results-oriented technology leader with over 20 years of Information Technology (IT) and HR&D combined experience at State Farm Insurance Companies. He is a passionate leader who excels at creating high performing teams and leaders, with a focus on delivering quality business results. In his current role as Technology Director, he leads the HR & D Technology division, including the modernization of workforce technologies and the maturation of digital adoption for a workforce of 145,000 end users. In past roles, Todd led the expansion of State Farm’s IT into the metro-Atlanta area, developing IT community and University relationships in the Southeast to build a diverse, skilled IT workforce of over 750 employees and leading State Farm’s K-12 Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) initiative in Atlanta (highlights included establishing a partnership with Girls Who Code, NCWIT, Technology Association of Georgia and BDPA). Todd has also led software development teams to deliver a quality customer centric product and has vast experience working in an agile, product management environment, partnering with vendors to achieve results in a Fortune 40 organization. Todd received his Bachelors of Science degree from Illinois State University and has earned the Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC), Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU), and Fellow Life Management Institute (FLMI) designations. He has served on the University of Georgia’s MIS Advisory Board and Georgia State University CIS Advisory Board. Outside of work, Todd is actively involved with multiple non-profit organizations within Atlanta.
