Anand is GM, UK & Europe at Emeritus, a Series E edtech company that has developed a fresh approach to online professional development, partnering with some of the world’s leading educational institutions to make courses effective, accessible and affordable. Emeritus has raised $800m at a $3.2bn valuation and has pioneered the Small Private Online Course delivery model which achieves 95% completion and 94% career impact. Partner institutions include London Business School, the University of Cambridge, IESE, MIT, Wharton, Columbia, and many more. Emeritus’ investors include Softbank, Accel, Sequoia Capital, Bertelsmann, and the Chan Zuckerberg Initiative.
Before joining Emeritus, Anand was one of the founding team members at General Assembly, where he was responsible for the core growth of GA’s Enterprise business, the major strategic asset that enabled its acquisition by the Adecco Group for $400m+ in 2018.
Anand has been published in leading business journals from First Round Review to Harvard Business Review. He grew up in India, spent 12 years in the US across university and work, and now lives and works in London, UK.
