Arne-Christian leads TomTom’s effort to hire, develop and retain the best people. Part of this effort includes fostering an inclusive ecosystem that stimulates the highest degree of learning and development for all. His ambition is to create a true culture of inclusion, learning and engagement, where every everyone is able to be their best.
Joining TomTom in 2008, Arne-Christian was promoted from HR Manager to a member of the Consumer Management Board within just one year. Since 2014, he has held the position of Chief Human Resources Officer and, in 2018, he joined the Extended Management Board. In 2016, Arne-Christian received the HRO Today CHRO of the Year – Lifetime Achievement award.
Arne-Christian’s unique perspectives on HR and organizational effectiveness are rooted in a storied background spanning nearly 25 years. Prior to TomTom, he worked in commercial and operational management for Texan freight forwarding organization Eagle Global Logistics, and spent 11 years at CEVA Logistics.
Arne-Christian is a Dutch national, based in Amsterdam.
