Ciprian is an award-winning global HR leader with over 20 years of experience in leading complex HR and workforce transformation programs across diverse industries. He is the Global Head of People Programmes and Analytics at Entain Group, a FTSE100 company and a world leader in sports betting and gaming, operating in over 20 countries.
In this pivotal role, he is responsible for developing and implementing a forward-looking People Experience Strategy that leverages AI-enabled and HR Technology solutions, such as Oracle HCM, ServiceNow, Microsoft, and Glint. He also drives strategic HR transformation initiatives that align with the company’s vision, culture, and values. Ciprian is passionate about advancing HR, L&D, and OD strategies, and tackling today’s pivotal HR challenges. He is the founder and ex-chair of the CIPD Fellows and Senior People Professionals Network in London, a thriving community of HR Leaders, experts and practitioners. He is also a founding member of Hacking HR’s Experts Council, a global platform for HR innovation and collaboration. Furthermore, he is a prominent voice in the field, an active conference speaker and he’s hosting an independent podcast on Leading HR into the Future and contributing to discussions on the evolving nature of work. He is a staunch advocate for data-driven, digitally-powered HR, and shares insights into navigating the ever-evolving workforce landscape on various social media platforms.
Ciprian holds a Master’s Degree in Human Resource Development and Consulting from the University of London, and is a Chartered Fellow Member of the CIPD. He is currently pursuing an Executive MBA from Quantic School of Business and Technology. He has been recognised as HR’s Most Influential Practitioner in 2022 by HR Magazine, and has received multiple awards and nominations for his contribution to organisational success and performance. He has a profound expertise in EDI, organisational change, and transformation, and is committed to enhancing employee experiences and driving meaningful organisational change.
