Claire Isnard is the Chief People & Organization Officer at Chanel. Since 2008, she has worked to drive growth and transformation, notably building the People & Organization function and programs on a global scale. This now supports over 36,500 people around the world, engaging everyone in shared values and a continued commitment to excellence across the House.
With a strong belief in the power of collective intelligence, supported by the richness of each individual perspective, Claire and her team promote a culture of inclusion, trust, and development. This is part of a long commitment of keeping people at the heart of business decisions. She is also passionate about creating the conditions for everyone to be at their best and thrive together. Based in London, Claire is a member of Chanel’s Executive Leadership Team and sits on the Nomination and Remuneration Committee of the Chanel Board.
Before joining Chanel, Claire spent 20 years in management roles in consulting, advising global clients, and providing thought leadership on business and people strategies. She was also President of ORSE, a non-profit corporate social responsibility firm, and was awarded the honor of Chevalier de l’Ordre National du Mérite by the French government in 2010 for her distinguished civil service.
