Dirk Jonker is the CEO and founder of Crunchr, an innovative platform for Workforce Insights & Analytics. He experienced the power of advanced workforce analytics in the boardroom during the global financial crisis of 2008, when he was working as a strategy consultant in New York. Ever since, Dirk has been on a mission to empower HR to drive business conversations with insights, inspiration, and confidence. People call him “DataDirk” for a reason. In addition to his work with Crunchr, Dirk teaches at universities and business schools in Europe and the United States, contributing to the education of the next generation of HR professionals. Dirk was honored with the Actuary of the Year award and has delivered over 100 keynotes at conferences. Before founding Crunchr, Dirk worked as a consulting actuary for Towers Perrin and Deloitte, gaining extensive experience in the United States and Europe. He has been recognized as a thought leader in People Analytics, with his work featured in publications such as The Economist. Dirk is also the founder of the Workforce Analytics Research Consortium, which collaborates with leading universities and advanced HR departments to explore how HR can significantly contribute to business performance. Under his leadership, Crunchr has become a trusted solution for companies worldwide, including MetLife, Randstad, AkzoNobel, Qualtrics, and Cardinal Health.
