Dr. Sabine Bothe is Global Head of People and Culture at Erste Group Bank AG and Erste Bank for Austria in Vienna since January 2023. Born in Germany, she holds a doctorate in law and lives with her family in Vienna since 18 years. She has many years of people and culture management experience and expertise in various companies such as Deutsche Telekom AG – as SVP Employee Journey Group and as management board member of Magenta Telekom-, in A1 Telekom Austria, Compass Group and Lufthansa AG. In 2018 she was elected as “HR Person of the year” in Austria, in 2024 as “Employer Branding Manager of the year”.
