Goutam Dev is a people-focused technology executive with over two decades of experience in building and growing teams. He is a trusted advisor to CxO’s with experience in the full lifecycle of enterprise software, including sales, service delivery, partner and channel strategy, operations, and marketing. He is motivated by the maximum growth and development of others.
As the leader of EMEA North, SAP SuccessFactors, he oversees an organization with over 50 million users, providing cloud software solutions to care for the needs of employees, putting them rightfully at the center of business. He is responsible for the successful growth and execution of HXM for the region’s SuccessFactors customers.
Having lived on more than three continents and conducted business in more than 50 countries, he has the ability to bring people together across cultural boundaries towards a common vision. Previously, Goutam was responsible for the success and P&L of SAP’s Global Strategic customer segment and largest existing SAP Customers in the core Industries within UK&I. Also, as the global Chief Customer Officer for the Cloud Business Group he was responsible for all routes to market for this board area, reporting directly into the SAP Executive Board. Prior to this, he held the role of Vice President for Africa Fast Growth Market. In this role he led the overall success and execution of the Africa Growth Plan to drive growth, innovation and increase SAP’s market share within the continent.
Goutam studied Mechanical engineering and started his career developing software. He has been with SAP for over 19 years and has held various leadership roles across sales, services, and general management across a range of geographies. He has worked and lived across four continents helping some of the top corporations across a broad range of industries in transforming and building a sustainable organization for the future.
He is an advisor to the Global Leadership Forum at the World Economic Forum, and passionate about driving positive change for humanity through the use of technology.
