Jérôme Barthélemy is professor of strategy and management and former executive vice-president, dean for post experience programs, corporate programs and relations at ESSEC Business School. He is currently a visiting professor at Ecole Polytechnique.
His research has appeared in top academic journals and practitioner-oriented outlets (Harvard Business Review, MIT Sloan Management Review and California Management Review). He has also been the editor in chief of the Revue Française de Gestion, the leading French-language management journal.
He is the author of Tout ce que vous savez sur le management … est faux (Dunod, 2019), Libérer la compétitivité (Pearson, 2016) (which received France’s best management book award in 2017) and Myths of Strategy: Dispel the Misconceptions and Deliver a Winning Strategy (Kogan Page, 2022).
He holds a Ph.D from HEC Paris and has been a visiting professor and visiting research scholar at New York University (NYU), Stanford University and Cambridge University.
