Jyoti Chopra is the Chief People, Inclusion and Sustainability Officer for MGM Resorts International, based in Las Vegas. In this role, she leads all human resource functions including employee relations, executive compensation and total rewards, operations, learning and development, talent management, and diversity, equity, and inclusion. Additionally, she holds responsibilities for social impact, philanthropy and sustainability and serves as liaison to the MGM Board of Directors’ Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and Human Capital & Compensation Committees.Prior to her role at MGM Resorts, Jyoti served as Senior Vice President and Global Leader for Diversity and Inclusion, HR Transformation and Operations at Pearson Plc., Managing Director for Global Citizenship and Sustainability at BNY Mellon, Global Leader for communications and public relations at Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu Limited, and Managing Director of communications for global banking at Merrill Lynch. She began her career at the United Nations as a media consultant who covered human development and issues affecting women and children.She is currently a Director on the Diversity Advisory Board for Toyota, member of the Executive Council of the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM), serves on the Board of Directors and the Compensation Committee for Schneider National, and is a Diversity and Inclusion Advisor to Spencer Stuart.Jyoti was born and raised in London, England. She holds a Bachelor of Arts Honors degree in Journalism from New York University. She completed the Securities Industry Institute at the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania. She holds an MBA with distinction from the Saïd Business School, University of Oxford.
