Laureen is a learning and development leader working as Chief Learning Officer at ASML. She joined ASML after spending 4.5years at Prosus where she led the Naspers Academy to support high growth companies in their investment portfolio. In 2011, she was the Co-Founder of Accelerate Performance (now called Treamio), a Learning and Development consulting company that focuses on improving the performance of leaders and teams across the world. She has a passion for developing people and teams and has evolved and developed through over 18 years of experience in Technology, FMCG, Retail and Consulting where she operated at all levels of leadership in Learning & Development. She’s had considerable experience delivering a wide range of leadership, team effectiveness and behavioral skills programs across Europe, Africa, LATAM, the Middle East and APAC region working for Mars and Levi Strauss. Laureen brings tremendous passion and enthusiasm to her work and has a collaborative and facilitative style. Her approach is to provide creative, pragmatic learning solutions to ensure the learning objectives of the audience are met. Her background enables her to bring programs to life with meaningful learning experiences, and she has a strong desire to ensure all learning is relevant and practical. She ensures that all clients are equipped with a practical tool kit that they can apply back into their day-to-day work. Her passion is working with teams and leaders where she enables leaders and teams to think strategically and engage in meaningful conversations that allow for reflection, inquiry and sustainable change. She’s skilled at designing interactive learning experiences that gain buy-in and commitment to action plans. Laureen is also very passionate about the non-profit community in Africa and volunteers to develop great leaders and drive sustainable change. She has a Bachelor of Commerce honors degree in organizational psychology, a qualified coach and is an accredited facilitator for a number of globally recognized programs.
