Michelle Farkas is Head of Organizational Develop at Partners Group, a leading global private markets firm. With over 20 years of experience, Michelle is responsible for employee engagement, people analytics, and the effective implementation of Partners Group’s people strategy. Michelle joined the firm in 2021 to take on this challenge after relocating to Switzerland from the UK.
Before her tenure and leap into Human Capital strategy at Partners Group, Michelle was an entrepreneur leading a boutique consultancy firm focused on clients in the Fintech and Renewable Energy Sectors. Before starting her company, Michelle was at Tata Consultancy Services where she led Strategic Change and developing a Fintech portfolio management capability. Prior to joining TCS, she held senior strategy roles at Barclays, including Chief of Staff to the CEO for Europe and the Middle East Retail and Business Banking, and COO for the Non-Core operations and Corporate Banking Treasury. As a result of her career in consulting and working with the C-Suite, Michelle gained an appreciation of the strategic importance of managing people effectively. She is passionate in her belief that strategy lives or dies by the individuals responsible for executing it, and for organizations to be successful, the main focus of investment should be their people.
Michelle is a native Venezuelan of Norwegian ancestry and has lived and worked in Caracas, Sao Paulo, Boston, New York, London and Zurich.
