Muriel Pénicaud is a business executive and a politician who served as Minister of Labour in the French government (2017-2020), leading the reform of the Labour Code and the ‘Professional Future Act’.
She was Ambassador and Permanent Representative of France to the OECD. She served as Ambassador for International Investment and CEO of Business France, as Senior Executive Vice President Human Resources and Chair of Danone Ecosystem Fund at Danone Group, and as Deputy CEO at Dassault Systèmes.
She was a Board director at Orange, SNCF and Aéroports de Paris, and Chair of AgroParisTech.
Currently, she is a Senior Advisor to Bain Capital and to Danone Group, a Board director at ManpowerGroup and at Galileo Global Education, and the founder and Chair of the Sakura Foundation for Art and Society.
