Sebastian Szachnowski has been working in Volvo Group since 2007. During that time he held several roles. Currently, he is Head of People Analytics. He loves working with people and digital technologies. He bridges IT and HR to get most of both worlds to benefit employees, organizations, and society.
He is interested in Office Automation and Digitalization. He is a proponent of Agile, Scrum, and Product Management. He is championing the Citizen Development movement. Additionally, he is actively working on privacy by design and wide-spreading cyber security. His newest baby is a cross-functional People Data Product and People Analytics capability which he is currently establishing together with his fantastic colleagues.
However, all above mentioned is just the tip of the iceberg, because what is truly important to him are people, their development, and well-being. And this is who he hopes he is—a true servant leader and a people manager in one person.
