The war for student and graduate talent
An OECD research piece highlighted that the global population of university graduates is expected to reach 300 million by 2030. This rise conveys the increasing appreciation that economic development and success rely on the corresponding development of human capital. In the same report, it was shared that The International Association of Universities estimates there are now 18,000 degree-granting institutions in 180 countries worldwide. The graduate talent pool is therefore increasingly richer and more diverse – a prime place to invest recruitment energies.
Additionally, the market for high-skilled graduates is increasingly global.
