UNLEASH and ServiceNow ask, why do HR projects succeed?

Keen readers of UNLEASH will remember our report entitled ‘Why HR Projects Fail‘. While the report outlined the frequent pitfalls that HR professionals encounter, it did not answer the elusive question of how you ensure a HR project’s success.

This enigmatic quandary might have an answer. The service management behemoth ServiceNow teamed up with UNLEASH to determine why only 16% of organizations rated their HR technology projects as successful in 2020.

Prior to COVID-19, around one-third of organizations were undertaking new HR technology projects every year; now more than half of companies intend to increase spend on HR technology.

However, does technology have the answers for successful HR projects?

Making projects succeed

UNLEASH and ServiceNow are investigating key themes in HR which have been widely discussed over the course of the year.

Notably, there is an analysis of employee experience, organizational culture and change management, as well as adoption.

On top of that, the study will inspect HR teams, skills, and HR technology and ecosystems. If that wasn’t enough, there will also be a guide to picking the right HR system for a project.

Safe to say, this will be an essential read for the thousands of companies who are planning on undergoing a HR project.
