UNLEASH World 2024: HR: Consider 'what skills are needed to enact the company's strategic priorities'?

Elder took to the stage during this year's UNLEASH World in Paris to detail how The LEGO Group thinks about skills and learning, rooted in its philosophy of learning through play.

Sitting down with UNLEASH Senior Journalist John Brazier, Elder explained how the organization has moved away from siloed learning to an operating model centered around skills that align with the its strategic goals.

She also detailed how HR and learning leaders should think about a move to a skills-based model, particularly in context of the wider business and growing use of AI.

"The starting point, whether you are skills-based or not, needs to be the business outcome," Elder tells UNLEASH.
